Understanding the Role of Our Sales Team

At Sillars, our Sales Team is responsible for the advertising and marketing of properties—ensuring that every home we represent is professionally promoted and reaches the right audience. Whether a property is for sale or to let, the team is focused on delivering visibility, enquiries, and results.

The core purpose of the Sales Team is to maximise property exposure and deliver a smooth, client-focused experience throughout the sales or lettings journey. From launching a property to negotiating offers and progressing deals, we’re here to support landlords, vendors, buyers, and tenants at every stage.

We focus on:

• Strategic marketing and property promotion

• Generating quality leads and enquiries

• Managing valuations, viewings, and negotiations

• Supporting transactions from start to finish

The team is led from a senior level by Liam McCallum, our Chief Sales Officer, who provides overarching strategic direction and ensures alignment across all areas of the Sales function.

To deliver the best outcomes, the Sales Team is organised into three key subsections—each with a dedicated focus and team lead (where applicable):

1️⃣ Business Development

(Currently under recruitment – Head of Business Development position is vacant)
This team is responsible for:

• Attracting new landlords and vendors

• Building and maintaining client relationships

• Driving growth by expanding our property portfolio

2️⃣ Sales & Lettings

Led by Liam Wright, Head of Sales & Lettings, this team:

• Handles property listings, valuations, and onboarding

• Organises and manages viewings

• Oversees offers, negotiations, and deal progression

• Acts as a central point of contact for both landlords and tenants

3️⃣ Marketing

Led by Helga Odendaal, Head of Marketing, this team is focused on:

• Creating standout marketing content and property adverts

• Managing online property portals and social media presence

• Running digital campaigns and lead generation strategies

• Enhancing brand visibility across all channels

Our Sales Team is structured to cover every stage of the property journey—from lead generation and marketing to viewings and deal completion. Backed by strong leadership and dedicated specialists, we deliver results with professionalism, care, and a commitment to client success.
